Obituary of Harold J. Brown

Please share a memory of Harold to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Harold J. Brown, of Bridgeton, NJ earned his wings with God Thursday, February 29th, 2024. Harold was educated in the Quinton School system, upon graduating, Harold was drafted into the army and served as a Vietnam War Vet. After his discharge Harold worked for Owens Illinois glass factory. Later he went to work for Wheaton’s Glass Factory in which he retired. Harold was a strong and loud outspoken man, but would help anyone in need. Harold was great at offering advice when it wasn’t warranted, but it was mostly from the heart. Harold enjoyed doing recycling work by collecting aluminum cans, outdoor nursery work, listening to his old albums on his record player, not to mention car rides with his nephews Darrian Rilley and the late Jerry Brown followed by a good lunch. He always looked forward to his niece Crystal stopping by to prep his insulin needles and bring his military style grocery list. His sister Arabella will miss their multiple phone calls a day for their check-ins and prayer sessions. He gave everyone a job so Velma will miss filling out all his money orders and Niecy will just stay the mean one. Harold was loved through it all. Harold was the son of the late Randolph Taylor and Marion Brown-Taylor. He is survived by a brother Randolph Brown(Bridgeton) and two sisters Arabella Brown(Bridgeton)and Anna Harper(Millville), Harold is also survived by his great aunt Mable Taylor and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Besides his parents Harold is predeceased in death by one brother: Isaac Brown, as well as, one sister Della Brown.
