Lynn T. Franklin (Hopman), age 73, was called home by the Good Lord on February 8, 2024 at Inspira Medical Center of Vineland, NJ. She fiercely fought her long battle with Lung Cancer. Lynn was born on June 26, 1950 in Salem, NJ to the late Herbert H. Hopman and Josephine Hopman (Pedrick). She graduated from Salem High School in 1968 and married her high school sweetheart & love, Nelson L. Franklin on May 15,1971 in Elkton, MD. They had 2 daughters, Tracy L Thompson (Franklin) and Heather L Hinchman (Franklin). Lynn worked for Gayners, Bait Box and National Refrigerants for a number of years followed by devoting 17 1/2 years to C. Harrell Trucking of Elmer, NJ retiring on July 1, 2016. Lynn loved to love on others. She enjoyed sharing stories, meals, and quality time with her family. She was an avid reader, baker, cook, bird watcher, light house collector and gardener. Lynn will forever be remembered for her sense of humor even to the very end, her capacity to love everyone and strong courageous spirit. She is survived by; her husband, Nelson Franklin; her two daughters, Tracy L Thompson (Franklin) and James (Jim) Thompson of Clermont, FL and Heather L Hinchman (Franklin) and Don Hinchman of Hancocks Bridge, NJ; her two brothers, Ronald Hopman (Caralee) of Cary, IL, and George Hopman of Pennsville, NJ; her Aunt, Ruth Bradway (Pedrick) of VA; her seven grandchildren, Anthony J Thompson Sr, Christopher J Thompson Sr, James R Thompson Jr, Miranda L Bratton (Thompson), Andrew L Datz, Ryan E Hinchman and Chase N Hinchman; and 13 great-grandchildren, Kara Duplechian, Madison Hider, Michaelah Gutowski, Rileigh Thompson, Alayna (Laynie) Thompson, Christopher Thompson Jr, Caydence Thompson, Paislee Thompson, Lucas Watkins, Anthony Thompson Jr, James (Buggy) Thompson III, Joseph Thompson and Evie Bratton. She is predeceased by; her father Herbert H Hopman (1978); her mother, Josephine Hopman (Pedrick) (1994); and her brother Roger J Hopman (1944). Lovingly submitted by the family.
