Clara M. Palmer, 78, of Bridgeton passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024 at her home. Born in Bridgeton to the late Clara M. Douglas Gould, she was a lifetime resident of the Bridgeton area. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed as supervisor at the Vineland Developmental Center. In her free time, she loved to doing crafts, embroidery and sewing. Clara was known as a talented artist and decorator. She also loved her pets and loved her family. Her family described her as an amazing provider and always supportive. She is survived by her daughter, Erica D. Palmer of CA; her brothers, Douglas Clark, Felton R. Gould and William Gould and her sisters, Sharon, Dawn Many Feathers and Linda Taylor. She was preceded in death by her son, Keith Palmer; her brothers, Elmer Gould, and Oscar Steven Gould; and her sisters, Roberta Cole and Maryanna Ceaser. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township on Wednesday, February 7th at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Gouldtown Memorial Park in Fairfield Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM prior to the services.
