Obituary of Lucy Duffield

Lucy Duffield, 83 of Millville passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at Inspira Medical Center-Vineland. Born in Bridgeton, she was the wife of Bruno E. Duffield, Sr. and the daughter of the late Charles Lamanteer and Maria Suppa Lamanteer and had been a Millville resident since 1968. She had lived in Cedarville prior to that. Lucy loved her family and enjoyed the yard work she did around her home. In addition to her husband, Bruno, she is survived by her son, Bruno E. Duffield, Jr. and his wife Mary of Millville; her grandson, Bruno E. Duffield, III (Jennifer Higman) of Millville and two great-grandchildren, Anthony and Brianna; two brothers, Anthony Lamanteer (Virginia) of Upper Deerfield Township and William Lamanteer (Joyce) of Millville and three sisters, Theresa Gilbert of Millville, Rose Beck of CA and Alice Headley of Pennsville. In addition to her parents, Lucy was predeceased by her siblings Paul, John and Bonino Lamanteer and Christina Makos. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township on Tuesday, February 6th at 11:00 AM. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the services. Interment will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Millville.
