Obituary of Bruce D. Johnson

Bruce D. Johnson, 77, of Vineland passed away on Friday evening, January 19, 2024 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland surrounded by his family. Born in Bridgeton to the late Walter P. Johnson and Dorothea Noss Johnson, he had resided in Vineland at Chapman's Country Homes for over 20 years. He had attended Bridgeton Elementary Schools, Barnesville Ohio Public Schools and graduated from Los Gatos High School in Los Gatos, CA in 1965. Bruce had retired as head custodian of Mt. Pleasant School for the Millville Board of Education after 23 years of service. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time outdoors especially camping, hiking and gardening. Bruce also took great pleasure in exploring his family tree and became the family historian. He is survived by; his brother, Rodger W. Johnson (Donna) of Pittsgrove Twp.; his nephews, Stephen Johnson and Douglas Johnson; his great-nephew, Matthew Johnson and many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by; his parents, Walter P. and Dorothea Noss Johnson. Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
