Obituary of Sonny A.A. Reed

Sonny A. A. Reed, 76, of Cedarville passed away on Monday, December 11, 2023 at Autumn Lake Healthcare in Vineland. Born in Cedarville to the late Amply Reed and Mary Pettit Reed, he was a resident of Cedarville most of his life. Prior to his retirement Sonny had worked as a mechanic for AGMART in Cedarville. Sonny enjoyed hunting pheasant at Jones Island and cooking, especially with his children when they were younger. He also loved fishing at Baypoint and working on cars with his friend, Willie. He is survived by; his children and their families, Tina Reed of Upper Deerfield Twp., Richard Reed (Michelle) of Millville, Andre Reed (Michele) of Deerfield Twp., Joseph Reed (Stephanie) of Hurricane, WV, Shannon Sloboda (Mark) of Upper Deerfield Twp., Brian Shropshire (Amy) of Florida and Michael Shropshire (Brandi) of Nevada, William Reed of Bridgeton, and Tania Reed of Bridgeton; Sonny's partner, Linda Griffith of NC; his sisters, Ann Sharp and Edna Carman (Pete) both of New Jersey and his lifelong friend and brother, Wilbert “Willie” Barr (Susan Reed)of Hopewell Twp. Sonny is survived by 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Sonny was pre-deceased by his brother, John Reed. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Wednesday, December 20th at 11 AM.
