Obituary of William A. Allman, Jr.

William A. Allman, Jr., 87, of Vineland passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at the NJ State Veteran's Memorial Home in Vineland. Born in Uniontown, PA to the late William A. Allman and Susan Willey Allman, he was the husband of the late Dorothy M. Schmidt Allman. William had resided at the Veteran's Home for the past 2 years and prior to that he had lived in Pittsgrove Township. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and served his country during the Vietnam Conflict as a career serviceman for 20 years. Following his Navy career, William worked at Kimble Glass Co. in Vineland. In his free time, he enjoyed both fishing and hunting. He deeply loved his family and his beloved dog Cody. He is survived by his two sons, Martin L. Allman (Joy) of SC and David T. Allman of Swedesboro. He was preceded in death by two sons, William Alfred Allman and Glendon Allman; two brothers, Allen Allman and Donny Allman and his sister, Carol Wymer. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township on Saturday, December 16th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Laurel Lawn Cemetery in Upper Deerfield Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 9AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
