Obituary of Arthur J. French

Arthur J. French “Frenchy”, age 82, of Cedarville passed away on Monday, December 4, 2023 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. The husband of the late Evelyn “Bette” Davis French, he was born in Bridgeton and was the son of the late Arthur T. French and Martha Newcomb French. He had been a lifetime Cedarville resident. Arthur was a veteran and served his country in the United States Army. Prior to his retirement he had been employed as a Hot End Forman with the Wheaton Glass Company in Millville for 41 years. An avid crabber, hunter and fisherman, he enjoyed the casinos and race tracks and watching westerns especially with Clint Eastwood. He was also a football fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and a baseball fan of the Cincinnati Reds and enjoyed regularly meeting his friends for breakfasts out. He is survived by his children, Renee French-Anderson (Bobby) and Jeffery French (Gina Albert) and his two sisters, Judy Snowden and Sharon French all of Cedarville. At the families request services are to be private with interment at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Cedarville.
