Nancy Lee Barr, 84, of Lindenwold, passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at her granddaughter's home while under the care of hospice and her family. Born in Wheeling, WV to the late Charles B. Louk and Delcia Baughman Louk, she was the wife of Wilbert M. Barr Sr. Nancy lived in West Virginia until the 1960's, then she moved to Cumberland County. The last 15 years she had resided in Lindenwold with her granddaughter, Candice. Nancy retired from the Bridgeton Hospital system after 35 years as a Environmental Technician. Prior to that she had worked for Wheaton Glass Co. in Millville. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her family, playing Bingo, cooking, holding gatherings, and playing games like Sudoku on her laptop. She also loved to watch her favorite TV shows; Murder She Wrote, Matlock, Storage Wars, fishing shows, and anything on the AME channel. She is survived by; her husband, Wilbert M. Barr, Sr., of Hopewell Twp.; her children; Tammy Barr of Vineland and James Barr (Alyson) of Millville; grandchildren, Candice Lamanteer (Dominic) of Lindenwold, James B. Buckalew, IV of Millville, James Barr Jr. of Pocono, PA and Andrea Moore of Millville; her two brothers, Richard Louk and Robert Louk; many great-grandchildren and a slew of nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was preceded in death by; her parents, Charles B. and Delcia Louk; her sons, Wilbert “Sammy” M. Barr Jr., and Drew A. Barr; and her brothers, Brian, Virgil, Charles, Donald, Russell, and Gary.
