I fondly remember Joan as a friendly cousin who always was interested in our greater Hitchner family. I remember the times the Hitchners would get together for reunions back when we were kids and then, in later years when a family member would have yard sales and family members would participate. There were several times the cousins would get together just to talk and remember the good old days. I'm sure Cousin Joan really cared about her family and will be missed.
