Obituary of Michael Irvin Brown, Sr.

Michael Irvin Brown, 66, of Bridgeton passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023 at his home under the care of hospice and his family. Michael was the son of the late Leroy J. Brown and Betty B. Goldsborough and had been a resident of Bridgeton all of his life. Mike had been working for Allied Universal Security Services for the past nine years and prior to that he had worked for Human Services after he retired from the Bridgeton Police Department in 2009 as a K-9 officer with his partners Max and Ben. Mike enjoyed hunting, fishing, and going car shopping with his brother Larry on Sundays. He was a member of the VFW POST 1795 in Bridgeton, NJ. He loved to spend time with his family and was an AVID PHILADELPHIA EAGLES fan. He was known to many as Mr. social butterfly. Mike is survived by; his children, Michelle Brown and her fiance Dwayne of Bridgeton, Michael I. Brown Jr. of Delaware, and Matthew Brown of Bridgeton; his siblings, Leslie Knight (Tony) of Vineland, and Larry Brown (Peggy) of Bridgeton; his grandchildren, Arianna Brown, Ethan Carrasquillo, and Mia Carrasquillo; his lifetime partner, Yolanda Vazquez; a special friend, Olivia Willis; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
