Obituary of Henry "Lucky" Hayes Setzer Jr.

Henry Hayes “Lucky” Setzer Jr., 76, of Elmer, NJ passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ. He was born to the late Henry H. Setzer Sr. and Emma Nichols Setzer in Daretown, NJ. Lucky was a greeter at the convenience center in Pittsgrove Twp. where he loved to talk to everyone who came there. He was a people person and loved to hang out at all of the local diners in South Jersey to drink coffee, visit his favorite waitresses, and tell jokes. He is survived by; his sister, June Richardson of North Carolina; nephews, Richard, Thomas, and Charles; nieces, Cindy and Aneesa Kay, and a host of other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by; his parents, Henry and Emma Setzer; his sister, Pearl; niece, Michelle; and nephew Terry. A Memorial Service will be held at THE PADGETT FUNERAL HOME 1107 HWY 77, UPPER DEERFIELD TWP., on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at 4PM.
