Betty R. Auger Marlette, 96, of Fairfield Twp., went home to be with her Lord on Monday, October 9, 2023, at her daughter's home under the care of her family and hospice. Born in Hallsboro, NC to the late Raymond C. Auger and Mittie L. Russ Auger, her father moved the family to Bridgeton in 1937. She was the wife of the late Tony A. Marlette, and had been a Fairfield Twp. resident since 1953. Betty had attended Bridgeton High School, and was a member of the Cohansey Bible Baptist Church. She had worked for M.C. Schrank & Co. for about six years prior to becoming a homemaker and raising her five children. She then worked at the Cumberland Manor as a nurses aide for over 16 years. She also had worked for Social Services at Oak View for about two years, and was the coordinator of the Alzheimer's Day Care at St. Andrews Church for a few years. In her free time, she enjoyed baking, crocheting, crafts, and spending time with her family and friends. Betty made it to her heavenly home in time to celebrate her 78th wedding anniversary, October, 13th, with her husband, Tony. Well done God's faithful servant. She is survived by; three sons, Tony R. Marlette (Cathy) of DE, Michael W. Marlette of Fairfield Twp., and Richard E. Marlette (Donna) of Stow Creek; two daughters, Debbie L. Mangini (Lance) of Fairfield Twp. and Donna J. Cope (David) of Millville; seven grandchildren, Dawne C. Johnson, Michael Tyler Marlette, Jason P. Ward, Angel M. Emery, Danielle R. Pflieger (Calvin), Tony J. Marlette (Evelyn), and Nicole M. Marlette; six great grandchildren, Brooklynn Long, Jarryn Barber, Emery Pflieger, Chase Pflieger, Liam Marlette, and Weston Marlette; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased in death by; her parents, Raymond and Mittie Auger; her husband, Tony A. Marlette; her sister, Maynell Capriotti; and her brothers, Eddie L. Auger and John A. Auger. Funeral services and burial were held privately at the convenience of the family. Interment took place at Fernwood Cemetery in Hopewell Twp.
