Obituary of Georgina Ortiz

Georgina Ortiz, 98, of Bridgeton, passed away on Friday, September 21, 2023 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. Georgina was born in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico and came to the United States in the 1960's where she had resided in Connecticut, New York, and Bridgeton until her passing. She had been previously employed at United Poultry in Buena, NJ until her retirement. Georgina loved to decorate her house for every season and holiday, a tidy house was important to her. She always made sure she was looked her best by dressing up and getting her hair, nails, and make up done. She loved to visit with her friends and spend time with her family. Georgina loved watching her novelas, and listening to Spanish music. Everyone knew how kind of a person she was and would help anyone that she could. Georgina was also known for making the best Bustelo. She is survived by; her son, Rafael Navarro; six grandchildren, Georgina Diaz, Selena Navarro, Rafael Jr., Miguel Trinadad, Cecilia Navarro, and Luis Navarro Sr.; two great-grandchildren, Luis Diaz Jr., and Krystelina Burrelo; and her godson, David Fuentes Sr. She was preceded in death by her mother, Esmeralda Delgado; her son, Evaristo Gonzalez; and her two dogs whom she adored, Blackey and Palomo.
