Obituary of Valerie M. Blanchard

Valerie was born in Brooklyn, NY to Richard West and Jeanette Puttre West on October 13th, 1963. She was the wife of Roy Blanchard and graduated from Plainfield High School in Plainfield, NJ. She had been a resident of Pittsgrove for the past 20 years and prior to that she had lived in Fairton. Valerie was a loving wife, caring sister, and thoughtful daughter. She loved plants and was envied for her green thumb. She also loved animals, caring and sharing in their lives as equals. During her life as a devoted spouse to Roy, she worked at the Winchester Western Railroad and Leone Industries. In addition to her husband Roy of Pittsgrove and her parents who reside in Florida, she is survived by two sisters, Diana Nguyen of Monroeville, NY and Cynthia Shang of Chantilly, VA; a brother, Richard West of Burlington and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Saturday, February 23rd at 12 Noon. Interment will take place at Olivet Cemetery in Pittsgrove Township. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 11 AM to 12 Noon prior to the services.
