Obituary of Curtis V. Ireland

Curtis V. Ireland, age 58, of Salem and formerly of Port Norris passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Inspira Medical Center-Mullica Hill. The son of the late Calvin Ireland and Susan Smith Ireland, he was born in Port Norris. He had resided in Salem for the past 25 years and prior to that had been born and raised in Port Norris. Curtis had previously been employed in the oyster industry as a shucker and had worked at the Bivalve Packing Company and the Peterson Packing Company both in Port Norris. Surviving are his two children, Patricia Ireland and Kevin Ireland; five siblings, Phyllis Coates, Calvin Ireland, Jr., Wayne Ireland, Stephanie Ennals and Brenda Trezeki and numerous other family members and friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Connie Williams and Janice Moore. Services will be held at the convenience of the family with burial taking place at Haleyville Methodist Cemetery in Commercial Township.
