Obituary of Marie Florence Sutton

Marie F. Sutton, 63, of Port Norris, passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. Marie was born to the late Thurman Sutton and Florence Coulter Sutton in Bridgeton, NJ. Marie worked at Miller Berry & Sons in Port Norris for many years where she made casket beds. She later worked at Newcomb's Market in Port Norris for about three years. Marie loved to crochet, sew, listen to country music, and spend time with her family. She also enjoyed going to the casino to play the slot machines. Marie is survived by her son, Anthony Sutton of Port Norris; her sister, Jean Williamson of Millville; her companion of over 30 years, Ramon Cristobal Sr.; three nephews, Ramon Cristobal Jr., Juan Cristobal, and Jeremy Cristobal, all of Port Norris; and her niece, Connie Quinones of Woodstown. She was preceded in death by; her parents, Thurman and Florence Sutton; her sisters, Edna Banks, Mildred Quinones, and Georgeann Diaz; and her beloved Chihuahua Annie who she adored. Funeral Services will be held at THE PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 Hwy 77, Upper Deerfield Twp., on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at 11 AM. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10AM to 11AM prior to the services. Interment will take place at Cedarhill Cemetery in Lawrence Twp. following the service.
