Ruth Ann Cossaboon, 83, of Alloway Township passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2023 at Cooper University Hospital in Camden. The daughter of the late D. Milford Dilks and Hannah Hitchner Dilks she was born in Bridgeton and was the wife of the late David Cossaboon. She had been an Alloway Township resident for the past five years and had lived in Bridgeton and Roadstown prior to that. Ruth Ann was a graduate of the Bridgeton High School Class of 1958 and had recently attended the 65th Class Reunion which was a two day affair. She still tried to regularly attend the class monthly luncheons when possible. She had attended Virginia Intermont College in preparation to become a medical secretary. She then became employed with Inter County Orthopedics in Bridgeton and Salem as a medical secretary. Through her childhood and younger years she attended Cohansey Baptist Church in Roadstown where she later taught Sunday School. After her marriage she attended St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bridgeton where she was a member of the Altar Guild and had also taught Sunday School. Ruth Ann enjoyed puzzles, crossword puzzles, quilting, art, needlework, reading and bird watching. She was also an avid traveler but most importantly loved the time she spent with her family. She had served as a dedicated caregiver to her parents and her sister in their final days. Surviving are her daughter, Julie A. Kuhar (Nick) of Alloway Township; seven grandchildren, Anthony Cossaboon (Lori), Matthew Cossaboon, David Cossaboon (Kaitlyn), Mitchell Cossaboon, Nicholas Kuhar, III (Brandy), Michael Kuhar and Rachel Kuhar along with eight great grandchildren and several brothers and sisters in law.
