Shirley L. Maurer, 88, of Bridgeton passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2023 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland.
A lifetime Bridgeton resident, she was born in Bridgeton and was the daughter of the late Henry Lupton and Artie Brown Lupton and the wife of the late Edward Maurer.
She was a former member of Berean Baptist Temple in Bridgeton and had been a teacher at the Berean Christian Nursery School in Hopewell Township for 17 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Cathleen Maurer of Bridgeton and was predeceased by her son, Edward A. Maurer.
Services are private at the convenience of the family with interment following at Overlook Cemetery in Bridgeton.
