Obituary of Arthur Lee Armstead

Arthur Lee Armstead, 73, of Millville passed away on Thursday June 22, 2023 at his home. Born in Salem, he was the son of the late Kaiser Armstead and Cornelia Booker Armstead and was the husband of Beverly Jones Armstead. He had been a long time Millville resident. Arthur had been a truck driver with Rufus Transportation for many years. He married his loving wife in 2004. He greatly enjoyed gospel music and would travel to see live shows and different Gospel singers. He is survived by; his wife, Beverly Jones Armstead of Millville; six children, Arthur Armstead, Jr. of Salem, Jereome Armstead of Salem, Janaisha Armstead, Thomas Armstead, Chas Armstead and Bianca Armstead, all of Millville; and a host of nieces, nephews, grand-children and great grand-children. He was predeceased by; both parents; his brothers, John Armstead and Kaiser Armstead and a sister Patsy Armstead. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11am, July 27, 2023, at All Nations Assembly of God Church, 660 Landis Avenue, Bridgeton, NJ.
