Obituary of Julius A. Lovell

Julius Arthur Lovell was raised in Bybee, Tennessee by Junella Holt Lovell and Joseph Price Lovell. His family moved to Bridgeton, New Jersey when he was a teenager and he graduated from Bridgeton High School in 1969. Julius owned and operated Colonial Title Agency, which was one of the leading title agencies in Cumberland County, for 30 years. Julius was a car enthusiast, who loved owning, working on and collecting cars. His pride and joy was his 1966 Mustang Shelby. Julius enjoyed an active social life and loved spending Summers on his boat, “The Title Wave”, with his family and friends. He was lovingly known for his opinions, which he offered freely, whether you liked it or not. Julius also had a softer, kind heart and would do just about anything for those he cared about. Julius was pre-deceased by his sisters, Mollie Lovell Oneill and Beverly Lovell Ediss and brother Lloyd Lovell. He is survived by his son Jeffrey Lovell (Betsy), daughter Jacquelyn Lovell, sister Judy Gribble and his grandchildren Victoria Lovell, Jeffrey Lovell and Vincent Ballentine. Services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township on Saturday, July 1st at 3:00 PM. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 to 3:00 PM prior to the services. Interment will take place at Clay Creek Cemetery in Bybee, Tennessee The family requests that donations can be made in Julius’ memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. St.Jude.org.
