Obituary of Octavia Olivia McLean

Octavia Olivia McLean, age 32, passed away on June 18, 2023, at the age of 32. She leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of love. Octavia was born on March 6, 1991, at Shore Memorial Hospital in Somers Point, New Jersey, to her parents Florene White-Tankard and Raymond McLean, Sr.; she was raised by her aunt, Stephanie Jones. Octavia was a loving mother to her four children, Cameron Ahktayvion McLean (14), Ajeinah Amiya Hardrick (11), Aariah Faith Olivia McLean (6), and Anthony Manuel Vazquez (4). She adored her children and found great joy in spending time with them. She grew up in Millville, New Jersey, where she attended Millville High School and graduated in 2010. Octavia was a determined individual who pursued her passion for hair and obtained a license in the field. She also took pleasure in doing nails, showcasing her creativity and talent. Octavia had a heart full of kindness and compassion. She cherished her time spent with friends and family and found solace in the company of loved ones. Octavia had a strong faith and found great joy in attending church. Her warm and selfless nature touched the lives of many, as she always extended a helping hand to anyone in need. She is survived by her siblings, Diajuna McLean, Nerissa McLean, Cindarella McLean, Florene McLean, Raymond McLean Jr., and Kaylean "Darius" McLean. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and a host of friends. Octavia joins her brother, Cleon McLean in eternal rest, as well as her cousin, Marcel Jones. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Thursday, June 29, 2023, at 11 AM. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 9 AM to 11 AM prior to the services. Interment will take place at Haleyville Methodist Cemetery in Commercial Twp. following services.
