Obituary of Betty D. Flanigan

Betty D. Flanigan, age 78, of Cedarville passed away on Thursday, June 22nd, 2023 at her home under the care of her family and hospice. The wife of the late Donald J. Flanigan who passed in September of 2022, she was born in Fairton and was the daughter of the late Ralph Wilson and Ruth Champion Wilson. She had been a resident of Cedarville for 54 years and had lived in Bridgeton and Fairton prior to that. Betty was an active member of the Dividing Creek Baptist Church where she sang with the church choir and had been assistant to the church treasurer. She also enjoyed baking, puzzles and games. Surviving are her children, Bryan Flanigan of Cedarville, Susan Flanigan-Bukosky (Mark) of Little Egg Harbor, Stephen Flanigan of Cedarville and Samuel Flanigan of Cedarville; five siblings, Barbra Hager, Herb Wilson, Doris Bowman, Diane Campbell and Sue Watkins, 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 1st at 11:00 AM at the Dividing Creek Baptist Church, 928 Union Street, Dividing Creek. Friends may call on Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township. Interment will take place at Old Stone Church Cemetery in Fairfield Township.
