Nathan File age 53 entered into this world on July 28th 1969 to Johnnie J File Sr and the late Hattie B File. Nathan heard the voice of the lord on June 11th 2023 saying “Come unto me all who are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” which also happened to be his brother Carl File Sr. birthday. With his family beside him he slept away peacefully. Nathan accepted God into his life at an early age at Second Pilgrim Baptist Church. Nathan received his early childhood education in the Cedarville School District. He was a 1987 graduate of Bridgeton High School. Where he played various sports such as Wrestling, Football ,Track and Basketball along side of his brothers. After high school Nathan joined the U.S. Army where he served as Sergeant First Class E7 for twenty-two and a half years until his retirement. Nathan received an Associate Degree in Engineering from Gloucester County College. Nathan was the Executive Producer and owner of Jersey Style Films along with his business partner Jesse James Jackson. In this time of producing Nathan created multiple films such as The Bishop, The Golden Empire, The House of Malik, Coming Home from War and The North Star just to name a few. When Nathan wasn’t creating he was traveling the world. All it took was a pair of keys and some gas and he was out. Nathan was an avid Steelers Fan. Nathan had a heart of gold and would take care and help anyone. He especially had a heart for his nieces and nephews for he was known as the Uncle who gave the dollars. Nathan leaves to carry on his Legacy, son Jacob Dix, daughter Jasmine Acevedo (Monica), 3 granddaughters Faith, Dalyah and Mia Brown. His father Johnnie J File Sr. The Mother of his son and forever friend Cynthia Dix of Brockton Massachusetts. Four Brothers Taheem Rasheed (Charles File) of Bridgeton NJ, Johnny File Jr (Cheryl) of Moreno Valley California, Jerome File (Janet) of Millville NJ and Michael File (Billie Joe) of Fairton NJ. One sister Carolyn Blakely (Michael) of Charlotte North Carolina, Forever Sisters, Hope File, Regina Kearney, and Kea Toure, One Aunt Lacy Anderson of Waynesboro Georgia. Best Friend and Business Partner Jesse James Jackson of Philadelphia PA. A host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends. Nathan was preceded in death by his Mother Hattie B. File, Three Brothers James File, Carl B File Sr. and Samuel File Sr, his God Parents Leroy and Mamie Patterson and his Maternal and Paternal Grandparents. Nathan leaves with us some of his famous quotes such as “ We Keep It Moving”,”Whoooo Deee Whoooo”,and “God Makes No Mistakes”. Family and friends keep in your darkest hours keep in mind God Makes No Mistakes and one thing for sure WE KEEP IT MOVING !! Sorrowfully Submitted, The Family Funeral Services will be held at 12 NOON on Friday, June 23rd, at True Vine Pentecostal Church. 100 South 2nd St., Millville, NJ. Friends will be received at the church from 10 AM to 12 PM prior to the service. Interment will immediately follow the service at Cedar Hill Cemetery, 197 North Main St., Cedarville, NJ.
