Obituary of Garnett "Butch" Huff

Garnett “Butch” Huff, 93, of Stow Creek Township passed away at her home on Saturday, June 10, 2023 under the care of her family and hospice. The daughter of the late Hurston T. Nelson and Viola Lovejoy Nelson Maynard, she was born in Harts, West Virginia. She was the wife of the late Tommy Huff who passed in 2020. Garnett came to the Bridgeton area in 1945 and had been a Stow Creek Township resident since 1952. Before her retirement, she had been employed with the former Price Brothers Label Company in Bridgeton for 19 years and also with Seabrook Farms. Surviving are her son, Steven Huff of Stow Creek Township, her daughter, Jacqueline Strong-Graham (Robert) of Stow Creek Township and a sister, Eva Louise Tomlinson of Virginia along with six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Tommy Huff, a daughter, Barbara Gail Huff, three brothers and six sisters. Private funeral services and visitation will take place on Friday, June 16th at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township. Interment will follow the services at Fernwood Memorial Park in Hopewell Township.
