Obituary of Marcia Poloff

Marcia Poloff (nee Lechner), 76, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, June 4, 2023. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the South Jersey Regional Animal Shelter in Vineland, NJ. Marcia was born on June 3, 1947, to Alois and Rosetta Lechner, and she was the oldest of three children. Marcia married Frank J. Poloff, Jr. on October 31, 1971, and they have two children, Emily and Jonathan Poloff. Marcia spent the majority of her career as a teacher at Fairton Christian Center Academy in Fairton, NJ. She would spend her summers helping her husband on their farm and operating their produce stand. In her free time, Marcia loved to garden, sew, bake, cook, take care of her cats, dog, and chickens, spend time with her family, and babysit her grandchildren. She also volunteered at the Petsmart in Millville, NJ to go and spend time with the cats that were up for adoption Marcia is survived by two brothers, her husband, her two children, and her three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Monday, June 12th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Fernwood Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
