Please share a memory of Robert to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Robert Jack Kimble entered eternal life after waging a twenty year battle with bladder cancer which he fought until he was victorious on June 2, 2023. Surrounded by his wife, Debbi and their families, Robert (Bobby) passed into the arms of the Lord on the same date as his late mother Carol. Bobby was 62 years old. Born on January 28, 1961 in Wilmington, Delaware to Burl Kimble, Sr. and Carol Logan Watson, Bobby resided in Bridgeton until his passing. Married to his loving wife, Debra Sharp Kimble on April 4, 1997, they journeyed through twenty-six years of marriage together. A lifetime of loving memories will be a great part of his legacy. Robert resided in Hopewell and Bridgeton and attended schools in both Districts before attending Cumberland Regional High School. Being a Jack-of-all-Trades, Robert would be called upon to help his family and friends complete many housing and vehicle repairs. Prior to his medical disability Robert worked for Seabrook Brothers and Sons/Cumberland Cold Storage. In his spare time he could always be found helping someone else. He will be remembered for his crazy antics, nicknames, and sayings like, “Batten down the Hatches”, “Chew Tobacco, Chew Tobacco, Chew Tobacco, Spit!” and “Mind Your Business!” Always in constant motion and due to the unpredictability of his many personalities, Robert will be remembered for his teasing jokes, wildly entertaining stories, unfailing work ethic, his smile, and his willingness to help family and friends. His grandchildren will have memories of their PopPop calling them by his own made up names like Yummy, Wormy, Butt-head, Meg, TyTy, Cecil, and Jen ne Rose. His memory will be cherished and kept alive by his wife, Debbi Sharp Kimble, step children Kristi Birtch (Charles) and John Stanzione, Jr. (Diana).
