Chardae' J'Quann Donaldson, also known as Dae' Dae', received her wings on May 21, 2023, at the age of 35, at UPMC Memorial in York, PA. She was born on May 17, 1988, in Bridgeton, NJ to Wanda A. Morris and the late Curtis J. Donaldson III. Chardae' was a beautiful, loving, honest, pure-hearted, giving, caring, sweet, comical, bossy, smart, stylish, goofy, and creative young lady. She was an avid fan of gospel music Fantasia and the Food Network, even though she didn’t cook. She also enjoyed arts & crafts, word search & jigsaw puzzles, and playing solitaire. Chardae' loved collecting stuffed animals and coordinating her clothes. She also loved sending daily good morning texts to everyone. Chardae’ was currently worshiping at Asbury United Methodist Church in Frederick, Md. Chardae' graduated from Cumberland Regional High School in 2007. She later attended Frederick Community College and Hagerstown Community College in Maryland, where she pursued a degree in teaching. Although she wasn’t able to complete her degree, we believe she still became a teacher in her own right. Chardae' is survived by her mother, Wanda A. Morris; her grandparents Delby affectionately known as Mommy & Alvin Pritchett and great-grandmother Zettie Griffin (Skeet);her siblings Curtis J. Donaldson IV (CJ), Cierra J. Donaldson, Dimia Donaldson, ZeAundrie Summers, Rhys McRae, Michael McRae, Jocelyn McRae, and Stephon Joyner (Davis); her Aunts Sonya Saunders-Wright (Warren), Tonja Street, Summer Street-Small (Josh), Sonja Street-Arnold (Roy), and Kimberly Donaldson; her Uncles Frank Pritchett, Tony Morris, Edwin Street Jr., Corwin Street (Jen), Micheal Maddox and Jesse Jacobs; her God-Brother Emilio Irizarry and God-Sister Rondell Govan. She also leaves to cherish her Special Aunts Patsey Johnson, Helen Brooks and Lisa Money; her Special Uncles Kevin Hayes and Frederick Hargrove; her god-Mother Kiesha Rankin and her Special Caregiver Allyah Barrington (Nasyra). She is also survived by several great Aunts, great Uncles and a loving host of nieces, nephews, cousins and adopted family & friends. She was preceded in death by her brother Christopher J'Von Donaldson, father Curtis J. Donaldson III, grandmothers Willia Donaldson and Lily Donaldson, grandfathers Edwin Street Sr. and Curtis J. Donaldson Jr., and maternal great-grandparents Delbert and Edith Morris and Annabelle Street, god-brother Ja’Von Rankin and several Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Services will be held on Friday, June 2, 2023 at Padgett Funeral Home, located at 1107 NJ-77, Bridgeton, NJ 08302. The viewing will be from 10-12 pm, with the services immediately following. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Hopewell, NJ. The family welcomes cards, gifts, prayers and condolences before and after services.
