My dad was always joking around. When I was young maybe 10 I went in the truck (loved going in the truck) with him to Florida. We stopped at a hotel for the night.
He said, “See that crack under the door.”
I said, “Yes!”
He said, “Better keep you feet cover because baby alligators will come in there and think your toes are their mom and suck on your toes.”
So… me being gullible and knowing my Dad knew everything. When I woke up I looked at my toes and of course saw no alligators and said, “Look Dad, no alligators!”
