Obituary of Rita A. Greene

Beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great grandmother, Rita A. “Tootsie” Greene, 83, of Fairton, New Jersey passed away peacefully at home on April 18, 2023. Rita was born in Cedarville, New Jersey to the late John and Rita Sorantino. She was employed and devoted to her job of 43 years at Dr. Joh Won Kim’s in Bridgeton, NJ and didn’t miss a day of work, rain or snow. In her earlier years, she enjoyed traveling to Lancaster with her family. She loved her grandchildren and made sure to talk to them daily. She was always making sure they were fed. Rita was very outspoken and honest which is why most people loved her. She was a strong woman and showed it in the way she protected her children and grandchildren. Rita touched everyone around her, and she was loved deeply by all. She will be missed dearly, and forever in our hearts. Rita is predeceased by her beloved husband, Darryl K. Greene. She is survived by her daughter and son, Kimberly (Ronnie) and Brian, sister Flossie (Harry), and brother Johnny (Ellie). She is also survived by her six grandchildren, Tommy (Melissa), Jamie (Christian), Brooke, Katie, Kristy (Kyle), and Kayla, and seven great grandchildren Julianna, Jacob, Angelina, Peter, Olivia, Blake, and Liam.
