In loving memory of our Mother Peggy King Peggy A. King, 74, of Hopewell Twp. passed away on Friday, April 14, 2023 at her home. Born in Trenton to the late Earnest Irons and Molly Halter Irons, she had been a Cumberland County resident all of her life. On December 18, 1965, she married Ronald B. Pierce and had 5 daughters, Cheryl, Tina, Tracey, Connie (Bozearth) and Rhonda. She found the love of her life Paul R. King and they were together for more than 30 years. She was an avid bingo player, liked to be on Facebook and play games on the computer. She leaves to cherish her memories, 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews, brothers Donald of Brigantine and Carl (Karen) of Cape May. She was pre-deceased by her sister Kathy Sloboda, mother Molly Irons(Halter), father Ernest Irons and mother-in-law Leah Truett. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 20th at 7 PM, at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. Friends will be received from 6PM to 7PM prior to the services. Burial will take place privately at Fernwood Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp. Written condolences can be sent to the family through the funeral homes website www.padgettfuneralhomes.com.
