


Obituary of James A. Wright

James Allen Wright, 80, of North Fort Myers, FL, formerly of Cedarville, NJ, died at home surrounded by his family on Friday, April 7, 2023.
The husband of Sandra Wright (nee Romano), Jimmy was born in Bridgeton, NJ, on July 25, 1942. The son of the late Ammon and Annabelle (nee Staub) Wright, Jimmy graduated from Bridgeton High School in 1962.
Jimmy loved spending time outdoors. He enjoyed farming from a young age and worked on his grandfather’s farm for years. Eventually, Jimmy owned and operated his own farm, Level Acre. After retiring from farming, Jimmy started Wright’s Lawn Service, a business that thrived until he retired for good.
Jimmy loved traveling to Aruba with his wife and family. After 31 visits, he was named an honorary citizen. He also enjoyed playing cards and spending time with family and friends. He was known for his sharp wit.
Jimmy was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He attended McGregor Baptist Church in Fort Myers, FL, and Cumberland County Community Church in Millville, NJ.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his three children, Jayme Wright and husband Matthew Hinshaw of Nokomis, FL, Heather Wright-Weber and husband David Weber of Stow Creek Township, NJ, and Matthew Dysart and wife Sabrina of Appalachia, VA, and four granddaughters of whom he was incredibly proud, Madison and Reilly Weber and Jill and Hannah Dysart. He is also survived by his brother Lester Wright of Middletown, DE.
A memorial service will be arranged at the convenience of the family.
