Born in Bridgeton on September 28, 1928 to the late Martin Stevens and Elizabeth Cheeseman Stevens, she was the wife of the late William Cole. A homemaker, she was a lifetime Bridgeton resident.
Surviving are a son, Gregory M. Merritt of Ocean City, a sister, Madora "Dori" Turpin of Bridgeton, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother William Stevens and a sister Pearl Stevens.
Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place at Overlook Cemetery in Bridgeton. Arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUENRAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Township.
