Obituary of Margaret A. Thomas

Margaret Ann (Williamson) Thomas, 63 of Elmer, New Jersey passed away suddenly at her home on Thursday, March 9, 2023. She was born Margaret Ann Williamson on November 1, 1959 to the late Luther Lionel Williamson and Ida Mae Williamson. Margaret worked for PSEG Nuclear as an administrative professional until her retirement. Margaret enjoyed craft work, making beautiful handmade floral centerpieces and decorative wreaths. Margaret enjoyed traveling, nail art, and especially enjoyed her much loved dog, Novah. Margaret was a loving person, giving a shy smile to everyone she met. Margaret is survived by her husband; Gregory Thomas, two daughters; Chanelle and Melissa Thomas, two brothers; Toussant (Sheree) and James Williamson, one Sister Colette Jackson; three grandchildren, Zyra Thomas, A’mya Clyburn, and Keena Holmes, four nephews; Toussant Williamson II, Carwell and Theisman Montgomery, and Christopher Williamson, three nieces; Valshanay Williamson, Regina Maria Jackson, and Kayla Williamson, one great niece; Aubrey Montgomery, and five great nephews; Jacoby Montgomery, Theisman Montgomery, Jr., Toussant Williamson III, Kartiare Williamson, and Cameron Williamson. Margaret was predeceased by her parents; Luther and Ida Williamson, brother; Anthony Paul Williamson in 1964 at the age of 18, and sister; Bernadette Justina Montgomery in 2013 at the age of 54. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 25th, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Christian Life Center, 670 South Broadway Street Pennsville, New Jersey 08070. Inurnment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, in Bridgeton, New Jersey. Friends will be received at the Church from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
