My deepest condolences on your loss of such an amazing woman. I met Ms. Alice while working at Durands in the early 1990s She was more than just my co-worker, she was a friend, a mother figure, a teacher, and so many other titles due to her loving and caring nature. I cherished and valued her and was able to tell her how much she meant to me when we ran into each other at Shoprite. Her love for her family was evident as she always shared family stories and memories. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers. Rest in Glory Ms. Alice... you will be always loved and remembered <3

Q: How did you meet Alice?
A: I met Alice at Durand's (1990). We were scheduled on the “vaps” together. What a great time we had. Alice reminded me what I wore the first day we met. She would always chuckle about it. She had a great memory. She would give you advice even if you didn’t want it. But , she was always right. I was so grateful for her friendship. Alice was caring, funny, very wise, loving and had a sense of humor to the end. She loved her family very much, she always said, her children were good to her. My family will never forget her and will always cherish the the time we spent together. I pray that God will comfort you and give you all peace at this time in the lost of your mother. May God bless you all.

I will surely miss talking to Aunt Alice on the phone and her telling me stories of her growing up and of
babysitting myself and my brothers and sisters.
Also Marnie & I were so glad to have made the trip last year to visit her even though it was a short visit.
Love you all !!!

Q: What will you never forget about Alice?
A: Alice stayed after her 4-12 shift at Durand Glass , to help teach a 22 year old girl what to do on her first night of shift work in a glass factory
I will never forget her kind words of what I had to do for the next 8 hrs, nor will I ever forget, the days that followed , even though we didnt work the same shift , she always searched me out, to see how things were going with each new day at the plant
38+ years Ive survived by the words she said, “honey its just a job, you give it your all and youll do just fine.”
Even after her retirement, we talked by phone, and when I visited we remisnised of people who came and went at work and our lives in general,
and we exchaged cards and letters though the years, just to stay in touch. please know
Alice will be missed deeply and will always have a place in my heart of gratitude, for her helping me that first night to find my way, so many years ago
Sincerely, Kathie

My children and I never got to meet Great Aunt Alice (and great great Alice to my daughters) but we would send her cards. I always heard a lot about her. I am thankful Connie shared pictures of my children with her since we lived so far away. I know she will be missed by many, including us.
