Robert E. Fry, age 60, of Vineland died unexpectedly on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Cooper Hospital - UMC in Camden. The husband of Marie Rammell Fry, he was born in Williamsport, PA on February 8, 1952 to the late Robert Fry and Betty Willets Fry. He had lived in Vineland for the past 32 years and prior to that had resided in Fortescue and Williamsport. Mr. Fry was a Union Carpenter by trade for over 35 years with the Carpenters Local, Williamsport, PA. He was an avid angler and hunter and enjoyed fly fishing and deer hunting both locally and in PA. He also enjoyed motorcycling. In addition to his wife Marie, he is survived by a son, Sean R. Fry of VA; a daughter, Christina Makosky of Vineland; three grandchildren; two brothers, Russell Fry of Port St. Lucie, FL and Gary Fry of PA and two sisters, Debra Delker of Muncie, PA and Linda Desau of Williamsport, PA. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway # 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Thursday, January 31st at 1 PM. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 12 to 1 PM prior to the services. Cremation and inurnment will take place at Laurel Lawn Crematory, Upper Deerfield Twp. In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions in Robert's memory be made to the Newport United Methodist Church.
