Obituary of Grace J. Rudderow

Grace J. Rudderow, 82, of Pittsboro, NC, passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at the Laurels of Chatham in Pittsboro. Born in Orillia, Ontario, Canada she was the daughter of the late Alfred John Gaddye and Dorothy Louise Glaze Gaddye and the wife of Dan L. Rudderow. Prior to her moving to North Carolina, she had resided in Ocean City, Marmora and Vineland. Grace was a homemaker and had formerly worked as a Registered Nurse while living in Canada. She greatly enjoyed sewing. In addition to her husband, Dan, she is survived by her daughter, Melinda VanValkenburg of South Carolina; her sister, Dorothy Abreu of the Dominican Republic; her brother, Kenneth Gaddye of Guelph, Ontario, Canada and six grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother, Norman Gaddye and sister, Marjorie Gaddye Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township on Monday, February 13th at 11:00 AM. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the services. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Cedarville.
