Lavenia Y. Hayman, 59, of Vineland, NJ passed away on January 28th, 2023 at Bishop McCarthy Center. Born to the late Mary Bell Hayman in Neptune NJ, and was a resident of Cumberland County all of her life. Lavenia had been previously employed at McDonald’s. Lavenia loved to cook chicken and everyone raved about her tuna salad and the iced slushies she sold in the neighborhood. She also enjoyed dancing, watching game shows, and spending time with her family. Lavenia was known to have a great sense of humor and always made the people around her laugh. Lavenia leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter: Ashley Hayman of Millville, NJ; three siblings: Clarence Hayman of Georgia, Leslie Hayman of Port Norris, NJ, and Kevin Hayman of Millville NJ; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her mother Mary Bell Hayman and her brother Steffon Hayman. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Thursday February 9th at 11am. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10AM to 11AM prior to the services. Interment will take place at the Haleyville Methodist Cemetery.
