Obituary of Timmy D. Pierce

Timmy D. Pierce, 60, of Vineland passed away on Monday, January 2, 2023 at his home. Born in Bridgeton to the late Charles S. Pierce, Sr. and Mearldean West Pierce, he was the husband of the late Cheryl Brookings Pierce. Timmy had been a resident of Vineland for the past 15 years and prior to that he had lived in Bridgeton. Timmy had been employed in the Maintenance Department at Ancora Psychiatric Hospital in Winslow Twp. for over 20 years where he had been elevated to a supervisor position. He had previously been employed in maintenance at the Amity Heights Apartments in Bridgeton and as a truck driver. In his free time, Timmy enjoyed technology, working on cars and traveling. He was also an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He is survived by; his children, Dorian Pierce of Wisconsin, Darrell Pierce of Millville, Drew Pierce of Bridgeton, Johnathan Hall of Millville and David Hall of Millville; three siblings, Jean Brantley of Fairton, Tammie Brown of Bridgeton and Charles S. Pierce, Jr. of Sicklerville; his cousins, Sherill Brown of Deptford, Bonnie Brown of Deptford, David Brown of West Deptford and Kenny Brown of New York; his aunt Betty Watford of Bridgeton and his ex-spouse, Lisa Pierce of Millville. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by, his wife, Cheryl Brookings Pierce. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Bridgeton on Wednesday, January 11th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Fordville Memorial Park in Fairfield Twp.
