Obituary of Joseph Evans Jr.

Joseph "Little" Evans, Jr., 47, of Upper Deerfield Twp., passed away on Thursday December 15, 2022 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. Born in Bridgeton to Shirley Brown Pierce and the late Joseph Evans, Sr., he was a lifetime resident of Cumberland County. In his free time, Joseph loved to work on cars and enjoyed landscaping. He also liked to watch westerns and Tyler Perry comedies. Most of all, he loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by; his mother, Shirley Pierce of Bridgeton; six children, Dapreis Small of Bridgeton, Taliah Evans of Atlanta, GA, Tiana Evans of Millville, Gary Evans of Millville, Joseph Evans III of Millville and Genesis Mutts; five grandchildren, Cree, Carter, I'viana, Jedediah, and Inayah and many aunts, uncles extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by; his father, Joseph Evans, Sr. and his brother, Gary Leon Evans. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. On Thursday, December 22nd at 11 AM. Internment will take place at Overlook Cemetery in Bridgeton. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
