Elder Eunice Ann Gross-Jenkins “Patcy” Sunrise July 27, 1955 - Sunset November 23, 2022 Elder Eunice Ann Gross-Jenkins “Patcy”, 67 of Millville, NJ, transitioned to be with the Lord on November 23, 2022. She was born to the late Virginia Broughton and Ernest Gross in Port Norris, NJ on July 27th, 1955 as one of 18 siblings. Patcy was an ardent lover of Jesus Christ and she served God throughout her life fervently. Her pride rested in doing God’s work with gladness and bringing souls to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Patcy started her work life as a young lady at Woodbine Development Center as a caregiver. She later attended Cumberland County College and graduated in 1993 with an Associates degree in Nursing Science and became a Registered nurse. Patcy worked various nursing jobs and held many nursing leadership roles during her career as a nurse for 28 years. Patcy’s love for people transcended through space and time and her love has impacted and inspired many. Patcy was ordained as a Minister in September 2003, ordained to Evangelist in September 2010 and later ordained to Elder in September 2017. Patcy was recently appointed Interim Pastor at Trinity Holiness Church in Fairfield Township. Patcy has been awarded many accolades throughout her life including the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Award for her service to the community which is a testament of her commitment to Jesus and service to others. She often held Bible study at local shelters, volunteered at soup kitchens and served many roles within the body of the church. Many people who knew her remember her as the lady who drove the church van. Patcy would round up everyone; young and old and drive them to church, choir rehearsals and Bible study-faithfully. Patcy enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and family. She loved summertime family gatherings, good food, long rides, yard sales, music and singing. Christmas was her favorite holiday; in fact, she would purposely leave her Christmas tree up through springtime. She also enjoyed playing board games with her grandchildren and baking sweet potato pies. She loved her family and her church family with her whole heart and made it her life’s mission to leave her family with a beautiful gift-the gift of Jesus Christ. Patcy is predeceased by five siblings Melissa Gross, Roberta Jamison, Mitchell Gross, Gary Spencer and Vivian Long-Gross. She leaves to carry her legacy seven children.
