Carmen Brown, 65, of Millville passed peacefully to be with the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday November 8, 2022. A native and former resident of Bridgeton, NJ. She resided in Millville, NJ most of her adult life. Carmen was a graduate of the Bridgeton High School, class of 1977. She went on to further her education by attending Cumberland County College. She was employed by the Bridgeton public school system, Aims Training School and Securitas. Carmen had a love for gospel music, poetry, fashion, food, and perfume. Her favorite movie was "Cooley High". She loved spending time with her family. Carmen accepted the Lord as her personal savior at a young age, and through Christ, found the strength to overcome many hardships. She will be remembered for her strength, bravery, courage and kind heart. Carmen leaves, to cherish her memory, a son, Giovanni Brown of Marion, IL, a Son In-Law, Steven Brown of Marion, IL, her mother, Lorraine Brown of Vineland NJ, two Brothers, Gordon Brown of Millville NJ, Guy "Erik" (Lamonica Brown) of Metropolis IL, five sisters, Antoinette (James Marshall) of Worcester MA, Chandra Brown of Millville NJ, Yvette (Victor Avillan) of Maple Shade NJ, Dawn (Nicolas Murangani) of Mullica Hill NJ, and Kiyonna Brown of Maple Shade NJ and a Goddaughter Michelle Brown of Millville NJ. Along with many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces & Nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. NJ, on Tuesday, November 15, 2022. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp.
