Betty (Bette) M. Estadt, 92, of Cedarville passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at her home under the care of her family and hospice. Born in Bridgeton to the late Marius H. DeBere and Nellie DeMaris DeBere, she was the wife of the late Vincent P. Estadt. Bette had been a lifetime resident of Cedarville. Prior to her retirement, she had been the office manager at the Cedarville Cooperative Marketing Association from 1968 until her retirement in 2015. Bette was a member of Fairfield Presbyterian Church and served on the Board of Directors for the Cedarville Public Library. She was a member of the Lawrence Twp. Historical Society and a former active member of the Cedarville Parent Teacher Association. Bette dedicated her time to placing the Veteran's flags at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Cedarville and was integral in planning the Memorial Day festivities in Lawrence Twp. She was a founding member of the Cinderella Softball League in Cedarville and in her free time enjoyed driving, especially to visit her Amish friends in Lancaster and visiting Fortescue to see the sunset. She also loved to attend Engelbert Humperdinck concerts. Most of all she loved to spend time with her family and attending the sporting events of all of her children and grandchildren. She is survived by two sons, Paul V. Estadt and his wife, Margie of Cedarville and Glenn E. Estadt and his wife, Lori of Marmora; four daughters, Maranell Estadt of Millville, Bevinnie Dunkel and her husband, Nick of Millville, Beth M. Schultz and her husband, Ron of Cedarville and Mary A. Hickman and her husband, Jeff of Newport; 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren with one on the way. In addition to her husband, Vincent, she was predeceased by her sister, Almah DeBere. Memorial Services will be held at the Fairfield Presbyterian Church on Saturday, October 29th at 12:00 Noon. Friends will be received at the church from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon prior to the services. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Fairfield Presbyterian Church. Written condolences can be sent to the family at www.padgettfuneralhomes.com.
