Obituary of Lillian V. Lockee

Lillian V. Lockee, 85, of Franklinville passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at her home under the care of hospice and her family. Born in Middlebury, NY to the late Henry Russell and Celia W. Rowley Russell, she was the wife of the late Reverend Dewey W. Lockee. She had been a resident of Franklinville for over 50 years. Prior to her retirement, she had worked as an LPN at Pitman Manor and Matre Dei Nursing Center for many years. She was a member of Franklinville Baptist Church and formerly a member of the Silver Lake Community Church. She was very active in mission work and evangelism. She had lived and loved simply and with sincere dedication in service to those in need locally and around the world. Her dedication to God and the love of Jesus was always evident. She was preceded in death by; her husband, Reverend Dewey Lockee; her parents, Henry and Celia Russell and her sister, Leona Bray. She is survived by; her brothers, Alvin Russell and Arnold Russell and their families and Leona's son, Douglas Long and his family. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Monday, October 24th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Washington Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
