Obituary of John B. Gray, Jr.

Johnnie Bill Gray Jr, 67 of Pennsville, NJ passed away suddenly on October 06, 2022. He was born on December 09, 1954, Bridgeton, NJ to Johnnie B Gray Sr. (NJ) and Lucille Waldon (FL). John was raised in Bridgeton and attended Bridgeton Public Schools. After attending school, he worked years as a labor worker and most recently at Ardagh Glass Group before retiring. John was a member of Tabernacle of Deliverance Church under leadership of Apostle Edith Burgess. John loved the Lord Dearly. He was full of life and joy to all. He loved spending time with his family that meant so much to him. John leaves behind to cherish his may fond and precious memories with his sons Galvin Dent of Stafford, VA; Johnnie B Gray III of Columbia, SC; daughters Vernick Cooley of Philadelphia, PA; Keya Gray of Columbia, SC; Nyleah Merritt and Taylor Merritt of Marianna, FL; His only brother Jerry Gray of Bridgeton, NJ; sisters Dorothy Floyd and Essie Allen of Bridgeton, NJ; Angela Phillps of Millville, NJ; Godmother and Aunt, Anne Justin of Leesburg, FL; special friend Carolyn Gray of Salem, NJ; 17 Grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. He is predeceased by his father Johnnie Gray Sr. of Bridgeton, NJ; and mother Lucille Waldon of Leesburg, Florida; one son Ricky Gray of Vineland, NJ; one daughter Chanel Gray of Vineland, NJ; 3 grandsons Tyshaun Milledge Jr, Johnnie B Gray IV, Christopher Gray all of Bridgeton, NJ. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Saturday, October 22nd at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Fordville Memorial Park in Farifield Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 9 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
