Obituary of Loretta Dooley Barbaglia

Loretta Dooley Barbaglia, 74, of Buena Vista Twp., passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 under the care of hospice and her family. Born in Bedford, VA to Lillie Overstreet Bacigalupo and the late Joseph A. Bacigalupo, Sr., she was a resident of Buena Vista Twp. since 1991. Before that she had resided in Blackwood and Grenloch. Loretta's hobbies included gardening, cooking, country line dancing, and watching crime television shows. Although she had no children of her own she was a mother figure to her nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. She enjoyed every opportunity to spend time with them and show them how much she loved them and all of her family. She is survived by; her mother, Lillie Bacigalupo of Buena Vista Twp.; five siblings, Charles “Chickie” Marchesani (Kate) of Florida, Faye Hild of Upper Deerfield Twp., Tina Bacigalupo of Buena Vista Twp., Joey Bacigalupo, Jr. (Irene) of Minotola and Mike Bacigalupo (Cindy) of Buena Vista Twp.; seven nieces and nephews, Tracie Gomolka of Boyertown, PA, Darrin Marchesani of FL, JJ Marchesani of FL, Tommy Heck of Landisville, Mindy Bacigalupo-Lopez of Millville, Cindi Latona of Fortescue, Jo Jo Bacigalupo of CA and 20 great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by; her father, Joseph A. Bacigalupo, Sr.; her fiancé, Joseph McCool; her brother, Danny M. Dooley; her nephew, Adam W. Hild and her niece, Danielle Bacigalupo. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Thursday, August 25th at 12 Noon. Interment will take place at Laurel Lawn Cemetery in Upper Deerfield Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 11 AM to 12 Noon prior to the services.
