Born in Steelmanville on April 11, 1926 to the late Edmond D. Taylor and Mable May Van Sant, he was the husband of the late Alberta "Birdie" Werkeiser Taylor. He had lived at his current address in Cedarville since 1949. Prior to that, he had resided in Bridgeton. Prior to his retirement in 1988, Anthony had been employed by Kerr Glass in Millville as a crew leader. He had also been employed by; several area autoshops, Nichole's Ford, Scribnerd Lewis Machine Shops, Fericute, Cox and Sons, Hettinger Engine, P.J. Ritters, Owens Illinois and Armstrong Cork Co. He enjoyed working on small motors, especially lawn mowers. He operated a repair shop from his home. He is survived by; five sons, Eddie Taylor (Jeanette) of Ft. Pierce, FL, Walt Taylor (Joyce) of Bridgeton, Anthony Taylor (Bonnie) of Fairton, Bruce Taylor (Alice) of Cedarville and little Bruce Cheeseman of Cedarville; a brother, Sam E. Taylor; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by; a sister, Elizabeth Taylor and three brothers, Joseph Taylor, Kenneth Taylor, and William "Happ" Taylor. Funeral Services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 160 Main Street, Cedarville, on Friday, January 11th 2013, at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Cedarville.
