Darlene Diane Watson of Millville, New Jersey was born on March 30th, 1954. Darlene departed this life from a long term illness and went to be with the Lord on June 3rd, 2022. She was 68 years of age. Darlene received her education in the Florida Avon Park School System and graduated from Avon Park High School in 1972. Darlene attended college for track and field. She later went on to become a school teacher. Darlene is preceded in death by; her long term partner, Clarence Melvin Pierce, Jr. and her two sons, Casey Watson and Devin Watson. Darlene attended 2nd Pilgrim Baptist Church faithfully with many friends that turned into family. Darlene leaves to cherish her memories, her daughters, Chineta Watson and Torrie Watson; her sons, Patrick Blakely, Carlon Watson, Ron Watson, Jerron Watson, Samuel Watson and Melvin Watson; her close friends, Kathy and George Levs; 26 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and the Brown Family. Funeral services will be held at 2nd Pilgrim Baptist Church, 598 Newport Rd., Millville, NJ 08332 on Friday, June 10th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Millville. Friends will be received at the church from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services. Written condolences can be sent to the family through the funeral home website at www.padgettfuneralhomes.com.
