Obituary of Michelle Johanna Green-Pierce

Michelle Johanna Green-Pierce, 46, of Bridgeton passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 12, 2022. Born in Brooklyn, NY to Pastor Iraida Kendy Sanchez and Enis Green, Jr., she was the wife of Harvey A. Pierce. She had lived in Brooklyn until she was five years old. She had also resided in East Orange and Vineland. Michelle had been employed at South Jersey Extended Care as a CNA for about 8 years. She had been previously employed at Randy's Bike Shop, Family Dollar and IGA all in Bridgeton. Michelle was also a dedicated house mother. In her free time, she enjoyed listening to music of all types especially R&B. Her most cherished moments were time spent with her friends and family especially her children. She is survived by; her husband, Harvey A. Pierce of Pittsgrove; her mother, Pastor Iraida Kendy Sanchez of Vineland; her father, Enis Green, Jr. of Pennsauken; her three children, Iesha Johnson, Shadija Dortch and Lilian Pierce; her siblings, Hector Hernandez of Bridgeton, Roselena Sisneros of Bridgeton, Jessica Hernandez of Vineland and Enis Green III and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends. She was preceded in death by; her grandmother, Maria Sanchez; her aunt, Maria Bahamode and two cousins, Marshon Russell and Asia Lawrence. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Friday, April 22nd at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 9 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
