Born in Monroeville on April 30, 1919 to the late Fredrick and Sadie Thumlert, she was the wife of the late Howard Lawrence Pancoast. She had been lived at her present address since 2005 and prior to that had been a resident of Woodruff. Mrs. Pancoast graduated from Maison De Paris beauty school in Camden in 1939 and was also a homemaker. She volunteered at Ranch Hope in Alloway and the Cumberland Manor in Hopewell Twp. and was a member of the Woodruff United Methodist Church. Surviving are two sons, Howard L. Pancoast, Jr. and his wife Kathryn of Deerfield Township and William I. Pancoast and his wife Kathleen of Galloway; three grandchildren, Chris Pancoast and his wife Alisa, Doug Pancoast and his wife Amy and Joy Cole and her husband Steve and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Howard Lawrence Pancoast, her parents, Frederick and Sadie Thumlert and her adopted parents, William and Maude Thumlert. Graveside services will be held at Woodruff Methodist Cemetery, 4 Finley Woodruff Rd., Upper Deerfield Township, on Friday, January 4th, 2013 at 11 AM. Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUENRAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Township. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Mrs. Pancoast's memory be made to the Cumberland County SPCA, 1244 N. Delsea Drive, Vineland, 08360 or Ranch Hope, P.O. Box 325, Alloway, 08001.
